Half-Truth about Cats

Ever since we moved into our new house, Dil has been repeatedly bringing up the topic of us keeping a cat.
Now, I do not have any aggressive animosity towards these domestic animals and I believe that cats too are generally ok with me. The reason why I wasn't too keen on the idea was mainly because of the following reasons :

1) I’ve had bad experiences with hamsters
2) Cats go meow meow meow and then poke your eyes out with their sharp cat-fingernails
3) They look like a bald version of Malcolm McDowell

See what I mean ?

But I promised him that I will give it a thought.
So while I contemplate with the idea of filling the temporary void of parenthood with a feline creature, we came up with a possible names that we can give our new pet.

Here’s the outcome - Dil, wanted to name it ‘Catpower’ while I wanted to call it ‘Kat-Kat’.
But because we couldn’t come to an agreement on the name, it is therefore going to be called ‘Chibeng’. Which is Russian for ‘monkey eat nuts’.*


*kidding. its still kat-kat because i win.
