I guess not, but because I'm feeling exceptionally generous and creative today and more importantly, conveniently willing, let me provide an update or two.
Raya morning was at Pontian again this year. Followed by a gathering of my side of the family at Woodlands and then back to Jurong
And because we are typically hardworking and diligent kids, we acceded to usual tasks that are becoming almost like a routine during the eve and 1st day of Raya.
We even traveled all the way back to Singapore on public transportation (horrors of all horrors) and miraculously survived the long and arduous journey with big smiles on our faces.
Albeit with slightly unkempt hair.
And of course, there's the usual share of tear-jerking scenes with loved ones, lepak-nak-mampos nonsensical chatter and gastronomical indulgence of unhealthy, coconut-laden delicacies.
Ahh...Selamat hari rayerr.
