Dil worked the AM shift over the weekends so quality time was reduced to only a couple hours of chow-time and cozying in front of the TV.
But the day was especially productive for me as I got tons of housework done and even managed to whip up some relatively edible food for the family.
I got abit goopy when I watched Premonition & Nanny Diaries while waiting for Dil to return home on Sunday. I was oddly touched by the element of family relationships in both movies. Both were sentimental and mushy around the edges, which completely slayed me cos at the end it, I was bawling my eyes out, mulling over the weepiness of the reconciliation scenes.
Funnily enough, watching those movies didn’t make me feel manipulated - just amused and moved - which is rare in my cynical little universe.
