Kahlan Amnell. Who the fuck is she?

I came across this name while referring to
some old stuff. Kahlan Amnell - Mother Confessor
I don't even know anything related to this name.
So I google it and found out that she has green eyes, long, brown hair, and typically wears a flowing white dress, when acting as the Mother Confessor.
What the hell? So what does she wear when is not the Mother Confessor?
And she needs to restore her powers when used? What kind of power?
Confessing? Now I'm really bugged by this need of knowing about this
person.

Bloodyhell when I was still back in Poly, I created this super hero
character named SwimmerX. And this guy can really swim.
Just the fact that not on water but on land.
Because he can swim faster on land. He fucking drown
the minute he touch the baby pool. Fucking drown with foams
right out of his nostril. But due to this ability, he can only swim
quite a minimal distance. After that he will be send immediately
to A&E for his bloody loss of blood. What a crazy fella.
I have no idea why he would swim on land either.

And wait, I have another one.
This one is called Spasmo.
This hero can really jolt a fucking spasm through his leg and
other crevices which I wouldn't explain more.
But to restore this certain power of his,
he couldn't or shouldn't sleep for a year.
And when he get to sleep for a day,
that's when his spasm comes to work.
One small jolt to the body and he will send a fucking spasm
which will cause his body to do the moonwalk with arms frailing about.
And that's about it. But it will not cause any physical damage.
Just that people will be taken aback by this ghastly sight.
Because after Spasmo did the spasm thing, he will shit in his pants.

I have no idea why I've come about this special characters.
But who the fuck is Kahlan Amnell???
